When should I book Hello Pretty for my wedding?

Brides typically start booking their wedding vendors a year in advance. We do our best to accommodate with flexibility. Wedding planning can be stressful, your glam shouldn’t be. 

How do I secure my date? 

As soon as you choose Hello Pretty to be a part of your day, you will receive a personalized contract through our online booking system. A signed contract + a 20% deposit secures your date!

How long does it take for a makeup session?

It takes 45 minutes for a full face of glam on the wedding day. For bridal trials we like to have about an hour and a half. 

Do you stay for touch ups?

Before the bride and bridesmaids head out for the wedding festivities, touch ups are provided along with touch up kits. This includes powder and lipstick to keep you fresh through the night.

As far as staying for touch up after festivities have begun, Hello Pretty will stay for an hourly rate.  We can create a custom timeline for you, if that’s a service you are interested in.

Do you travel?

Short answer, HECK YES! Hello Pretty is mobile. Wedding day or Event glam usually takes place in a home, venue or hotel. Hello Pretty charges $30 per hour for anything 30 miles outside of the 27896 area code. If we are travelling 2 hours or more, we ask that reasonable hotel accommodations are provided.

Do you offer airbrush?

Hello Pretty prefers using traditional foundations. With proper skin prep and application, the finish and longevity of your look should be fabulous!

How do I show up to my appointment?

We’re so glad you asked! Clean, makeup free and moisturized skin are a must.  Your makeup is only as good as the canvas its on.  No matter what your skin condition, good skin prep is essential.  If you want to knock it out of the park, practice a solid skin care routine for a few weeks before your big event.  If you need any suggestions, we are HAPPY to provide you with some.
